Role Overview:
We are hiring a senior Technical Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of complex technology and AI projects, from initiation and planning through execution, delivery, and closure. You will run engagements for government, semi-government, and large enterprise clients, where stakeholder environments are demanding and delivery standards are high.
This is not an administrative coordination role. You are expected to understand the technology you are delivering: to read an architecture discussion and know what it means for the plan, to challenge estimates and assumptions, to see a dependency before it becomes a blocker, and to force decisions that others are avoiding. You will hold scope, timeline, quality, and client expectations together — and be the person accountable when they pull against each other.
You will work closely with engineering leads, product managers, designers, data specialists, and commercial teams, and you will be visible to senior client stakeholders and Steering Committees from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
PLANNING & DELIVERY
– Own end-to-end delivery of assigned projects and workstreams, from initiation through closure and handover.
– Translate business objectives and client requirements into structured, realistic delivery plans.
– Define scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, governance, acceptance criteria, and measures of success — and get them agreed and locked before build starts.
– Track progress against scope, schedule, budget, resourcing, and quality, and act early when any of them drift.
TECHNICAL & TEAM LEADERSHIP
– Lead multidisciplinary teams across technology, AI, product, UX/UI, data, business, and operations.
– Coordinate internal teams, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and strategic partners around a single delivery plan.
– Manage technical dependencies spanning integrations, APIs, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, platforms, and third-party services.
– Work with product managers and technical leads to ensure business requirements convert into achievable, well-sequenced technical deliverables.
– Drive timely decisions and ensure every action item has a named owner and a deadline.
GOVERNANCE, RISK & REPORTING
– Establish and maintain project governance, reporting cadence, and escalation paths.
– Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests — with mitigations, not just a register.
– Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and Steering Committee materials.
– Maintain project documentation as a reliable single source of truth, in line with Boud's PMO, governance, and quality standards.
CLIENT & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
– Lead client meetings, workshops, governance sessions, and project reviews.
– Manage senior stakeholder expectations and resolve escalated delivery issues without losing the relationship or the plan.
COMMERCIAL & PRACTICE GROWTH
– Support resource planning, staffing, and capacity management, along with commercial and financial tracking such as budgets, burn, and margin where relevant.
– Contribute to pre-sales activity: proposals, RFP responses, solution shaping, estimation, and client presentations.
– Improve Boud's delivery methodology, tools, templates, and PMO practices based on what you learn in the field.
What we are looking for:
MUST-HAVE
– 10+ years of professional experience, much of it in project or program management.
– Proven record delivering technology, digital, AI, software, or data projects end to end.
– Saudi or Arab national, based in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh preferred).
– Strong technical PM background — comfortable with architecture, integrations, and delivery trade-offs.
– Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, product, design, data, and business.
– Confident with senior client stakeholders, including C-level and government counterparts.
– Command of project governance, delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), and risk and dependency management.
– Excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.
– Hands-on with Jira and Confluence, plus MS Project, Monday.com, or similar.
– Professional working proficiency in Arabic and English.
NICE-TO-HAVE
– PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
– Consulting or professional services background.
– Government or semi-government transformation programs.
– Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, cloud, APIs, or enterprise technology stacks.
– Experience running multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
– Supporting pre-sales, proposals, and RFP responses.
What we are looking for:
IN THE FIRST 6–12 MONTHS:
- Projects land against agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality — with changes managed through governance, not absorbed silently.
– Risks and dependencies surface early, with owners and mitigation plans, instead of appearing as blockers close to delivery dates.
– Clients and Steering Committees have a single, trusted view of status; no one is surprised by a slip.
– Technical and business teams share the same priorities, sequencing, and definition of done.
– Scope and requirements are locked, documented, and traceable before build begins, and project documentation stays current enough to onboard a new team member in a day.
– Delivery accountability is explicit: every action has an owner and a date, and Boud's PMO practices are measurably stronger than when you joined.
